Experience Summer Intern Housing at Stanford

Looking for summer intern housing? Residential & Dining Enterprises offers comfortable and convenient accommodations on the Stanford University campus to support your internship experience. Stay on campus from June 22 through August 23, 2025, and enjoy living in a vibrant environment surrounded by fellow emerging professionals.

Program Details

Dates: June 22 - August 23, 2025

Duration: Minimum stay of 4 weeks, up to a maximum of 9 weeks

Accommodations: Dormitory-style residences with shared bathrooms and community common spaces

Meals: Not included; residents can explore the various dining options on and around campus

Eligibility: Current college students who are working in internships aged 18 and over are eligible to apply. Proof of internship will be required during the application process.

Additional Information:

Dining Options: While meals are not included, there are several R&DE-operated cafés open during the summer, as well as other eateries located both on campus and in the local Palo Alto community. Meal plans and Flex Dollars that can be used in R&DE-operated dining halls and cafés can be purchased in advance of arrival.

Campus Facilities: Residents may have access to university libraries and campus recreational facilities, including a lap pool, lockers, and gym. Access may require a nominal fee.

Parking: Participants are eligible to purchase residential parking permits to park close to their campus residence.

Intern Housing Experience at Stanford

Living on campus through the Intern Housing program offers a unique opportunity to experience our amazing campus. You'll have the chance to live alongside fellow interns and Stanford students from around the world - building friendships, expanding your perspective, and becoming part of a vibrant summer community. Benefit from purposeful networking events that will create opportunities for cultivating meaningful connections.

Enjoy the convenience of walking or biking around campus, meeting new people in shared spaces, and taking advantage of various free offerings available during the summer months. From outdoor movie nights to campus events and recreation facilities, there’s always something happening. The residential setting also encourages spontaneous social moments, creating a dynamic and enriching living experience.

Registration and Program Cost

Registration: Participants will be charged a flat rate based on the number of full weeks selected, not by the number of days. All bookings must align with full-week increments (partial-week stays are not available). Standard check-in is on Sunday at 3:00 pm and standard check-out is on Saturday at 11:00 am.

Linen: Linen packs are available for $65 for interns who do not wish to bring their own pillow, sheets, and towels. This is a one-time rental fee per package for the duration of your stay. You have the option to wash the linens at your convenience using the washer(s) and dryer(s) provided in residence. If you would like to request an additional linen package during your stay, there will be an additional charge of $65 per package.
