Locale Apartments
Locale Apartments are available as a full-year option for single graduate students. Furnished by the university, these two-bedroom apartments house two students each.
Locale is a 5-story building located near downtown Redwood City, within easy walking distance to the Caltrain station. Locale is near the Redwood City government center and downtown area with many shops and restaurants, as well as Sequoia Station shopping center. Apartments have stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, laminate plank flooring, Nest smart thermostats, and keyless fob access. The building has a small workout room, a rooftop barbeque area with hot tub, open air fireplace, views of the hills, and covered parking (including electric vehicle charging stations).
Stanford provides high speed internet through Comast and covers the cost of utilities. Stanford does not provide cable television, telephone, or cost of laundry.
Sublicensing is not permitted within off-campus subsidized apartments.
