Mardi Gras

A Mardi Gras celebration will take place in Lakeside Dining Hall on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. A special menu will feature traditional Mardi Gras and modern soul food dishes including Red Skillet fried chicken & waffles, smoked ribs with pickled watermelon rind, and crawfish etouffe. Lakeside Dining Consulting Chef Tanya Holland, chef/owner of Oakland's popular Brown Sugar Kitchen, will provide a cooking demonstration, and live entertainment will have the joint jumping.
