One Plate, One Planet

R&DE Stanford Dining, Hospitality & Auxiliaries' award-winning Sustainable Food Program, One Plate, One Planet, collaborates on many aspects of complex global food systems—from equitable supply chains, climate-smart dining, and regenerative agriculture, to reducing food waste and shifting diets towards plant-forward options. We believe that with each plate we serve, and each meal our students eat, we have the opportunity to create a better future for this planet together.

Performance Dining

Performance Dining

R&DE Stanford Dining, Hospitality & Auxiliaries' Performance Dining program provides an enhanced dining experience aimed at promoting functional health, academic success and athletic performance through nutritionally inspired meals. Our performance-focused menus emphasize whole, minimally processed foods that provide a balance of nutrients and appeal to the diverse preferences of our students. We work closely with Stanford Athletics to accommodate the unique dietary needs of student athletes, who need nutrient-dense meals and added fuel to support a very active lifestyle. By upgrading familiar favorites and responding to current food trends, we make these nourishing foods “craveable” and encourage students to expand their knowledge of food and nutrition.

Three Ethnic Brands

Prioritizing Gender Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Connection to the Ethnic Theme Houses

Stanford Dining, Hospitality & Auxiliaries utilizes our dining program as a platform to recognize a diversity of chefs who influence and educate our culinary team and students. Together we are creating critically important food experiences and educational opportunities in support of Stanford's ethnic theme houses.
