R&DE came together to celebrate diversity during its Juneteenth & Multicultural Event. The event included an introduction by Dr. Shirley J. Everett that emphasized our commitment to the R&DE Core Value of “Value & Embrace Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging” and celebrated our recent 2022 President’s Award for Excellence Through Diversity.

Additionally, representatives from several R&DE Affinity Groups participated in a panel discussion, which was moderated by Kahlil Wells (SDHA). Panelists included Guadalupe Gomez (IT), Daniel Archer (SDHA), Curie Sevilla (SHO), Daphne Williams (SHO), Marii Saucedo (MCP), Marusela Anders (MCP), and Stephenie Moore (SDHA).

Following the discussion, R&DE staff enjoyed trivia, cultural foods, and live music.
