The Maintenance Operations team is dedicated to keeping Stanford Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE) facilities and equipment running smoothly through proactive upkeep, rapid repairs, and long-term asset management. Our highly skilled technicians, managers, and planners provide 24/7/365 support, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Our highly skilled technicians, managers, and planners focus on these three areas:

  • Ensuring Reliability & Efficiency – We perform reactive, corrective, and preventive maintenance to keep student housing residences, dining halls, commercial kitchens, retail venues, administrative spaces, and auxiliary support facilities fully operational and optimized for long-term performance.
  • Providing Proactive & Responsive Service – Our team rapidly addresses repairs, system failures, and emergency maintenance needs, while also planning and executing special maintenance initiatives that enhance facility functionality and safety.
  • Delivering Excellence in Facility Stewardship – Maintaining a large, diverse, and dynamic portfolio provides numerous opportunities to enhance and optimize our facilities. With a strong commitment to outstanding customer service and proactive asset care, we ensure that every space is well-maintained, efficient, and supports the needs of the Stanford community.
