Applying for Undergraduate Housing
Quick Links
The housing assignment process has changed for 2020-2021. Typically, upperclass students apply for spring housing through a process similar to The Draw. This year, we will instead be implementing a new Spring Housing Allocation process that places a greater emphasis on ensuring friend groups can live in the same residence. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it may not be possible for students to visit other residence halls and students may only be able to pick up meals from one designated dining hall based on their housing assignment. The Spring Housing Allocation allows students the possibility of living near their friends.

“
I can’t imagine my Stanford experience without on-campus housing. Living alone is a new experience for me, and it’s great to make friends to share that with. Resident fellows do a great job of creating fun and educational programming. It’s the perfect excuse to step away from studying and engage with my neighbors.

Dining & Meal Plans
Several dining locations will be open during spring quarter. At R&DE Stanford Dining, we provide an exceptional dining experience regardless of your living location. With locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, our talented chefs craft delicious options for every meal of the day. A Stanford Dining meal plan will be required of all students in undergraduate housing. Units in EVGR Building A will have refrigerators and microwaves, but no stoves or ovens. In order to control the flow of students and adhere to physical distancing guidelines, students will be assigned to a specific dining location based on their housing assignment.
