Overview

The Munger Graduate Residence is available to graduate students in all disciplines, with priority given to Law School students. This premier, architecturally-distinctive property features exceptional campus views, beautifully appointed, fully-furnished air-conditioned apartments with open floor plans, spacious living rooms, private bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Contemporary full kitchens, and other high-quality services and amenities are also available.

Located at the heart of Stanford campus, the Munger Residence is intended to foster community and interaction. The design of the complex emphasizes open common areas, and the architecture fosters a sense of community and cross-disciplinary discussion. The donors' vision is that students from Stanford Law School and Stanford University’s other top-ranked graduate schools and departments will come together to live, study and exchange ideas in this extraordinary setting.

Made possible with a generous gift from Charles T. Munger, vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, and his wife Nancy Munger, '45, the Munger Graduate Residence is a new concept in interdisciplinary living and learning at Stanford University.

The Munger complex includes the Market at Munger offering fresh produce, grab-and-go meals, kitchen staples, kosher foods and other necessities.
