What’s Available
Stanford partners with Collegeboxes to offer students:
- Year-round storage
- Summer-only storage
- Domestic shipping services
These services are especially helpful during academic breaks, term changes, and move-in or move-out periods.
Storage and Shipping Options
Storage and Shipping
Ideal for moving out after any quarter. Your items are picked up from your room, stored or shipped, and delivered back to your room when you return.
Ship to School
If you're heading to campus, ship your belongings via FedEx to a local storage site. Collegeboxes will deliver your items directly to your room.
U-Box Portable Storage
Each U-Box fits about 1.5 rooms of belongings. Load your container at a designated drop-off location. U-Boxes are stored off-campus and delivered when you return.

- Stanford University is not responsible for items stored or shipped through third-party providers.
- Service contracts are made directly between students and the vendor.
Using a Non-Preferred Vendor?
Note the following guidelines:
- Containers must be placed only in designated drop zones.
- They may remain on campus for no more than 72 hours.
