Sublicensing: Internet Access

At Stanford, all student rooms and most residential common areas have high-speed data ports. Wireless access to the university's online resources is widely available across campus, including most academic and administrative buildings. A map of wireless zones on campus is available. Wireless access in campus residences is provided by Residential Computing; see the Wireless in the Residences page.

If you are a student who is sublicensing an on-campus residence:

  • Visit the Residential Computing page for more information on registering your devices for the Stanford network.

If you are a visitor and need temporary wireless guest access while sublicensing an on-campus residence:

See Computing Self-Help http://www.stanford.edu/services/ithelp/ for more information.
