The 2024 R&DE All Hands gathering brought together a large and enthusiastic crowd to celebrate operational excellence, inclusivity, and collaboration. The event opened with a warm welcome from Dr. Shirley J. Everett, followed by inspiring remarks from Tim Warner, Vice Provost for Budgets and Auxiliaries, and Stanford President Jonathan D. Levin. A panel on inclusive excellence, featuring insights from R&DE leaders Eric Montell, Peter Hoenig, and Jocelyn Breeland, emphasized the organization’s commitment to fostering a diverse and supportive environment.
The event also featured delicious food, engaging expo table, and exciting early nominations for the prestigious Keith L. Guy Award. Fun trivia rounds, a moving performance by Stanford Talisman, and a lively reception in Rehnquist Courtyard rounded out the day, making this a memorable gathering. With high attendance, engaging activities, and a focus on innovation, the event reinforced R&DE’s dedication to creating exceptional experiences for the Stanford community.
