Stanford BeWell Community Gardens
The BeWell Community Gardens serve the Stanford community and are managed by Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE). The gardens are part of Stanford’s BeWell program. We have two gardens, one near the Medical School and one near the Munger Complex for a total of more than 150 individual garden plots spanning one acre of land.
Oak Road BeWell Community Garden
The Oak Road garden is next to the Sandhill Fields on Oak Road. The closest intersection is Welch Road.
Lane B BeWell Community Garden
The Lane B garden is at the intersection of Lane B and Campus Drive.
Regular Stanford University staff, faculty, currently enrolled Stanford students and Stanford Hospital & Clinics employees are eligible to obtain an individual garden plot. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We currently have a long wait list for the garden plots. Please fill out the application to join the waitlist. We will contact you when a spot becomes available.
To ensure that the entire community enjoys a safe, positive, and rewarding experience at the Stanford BeWell Community Gardens, all gardeners must sign and abide by the BeWell Community Garden Policies and Procedures. Failure to comply with these policies and procedures is grounds for removal from the community garden.
Dues are charged on an annual basis, on January 1st of each year. Gardeners who join the community garden mid-year
will pay prorated dues based on when they joined.
Staff, Faculty & Retirees - $65
