EVGR Catering & Events proudly caters to EVGR Pavilion/Building C, including the 3rd floor multipurpose room and outdoor patio at EVGR Pub & Beer Garden. These flexible meeting spaces can accommodate groups of 40 to 250.

Our extraordinary team will work with you to customize a menu and setting specific to your vision, with attention to detail and exceptional service.

Highlights of the Conference Center

Located in the heart of Escondido Village Graduate Residences (EVGR), the third floor of EVGR Pavilion / Building C features a spacious and flexible meeting space with a beautiful view of the campus. It’s close in proximity to EVGR Pub & Beer Garden, EVGR Marketplace, EVGR Dining and other amenities.

The ground level of EVGR Pavilion / Building C is home to EVGR Pub & Beer Garden, with an outdoor patio for private events, featuring comfortable seating, dining tables and umbrellas, as well as an outdoor fireplace.

Event Production and Design

Our teams always have the pulse on the latest trends and, beyond exceptional food and service, can help you execute signature events that are certain to wow your guests. We happily partner with on-campus services whenever possible and manage vendors and services for you, including tent builds, furniture rentals, AV/tech installations, floral design, themed décor and event flow with a perfectly paired menu to match.

Stanford Express Catering

Catering made simple!

Stanford Express Catering service provides simplified offerings on disposable platters for up to 50 guests with an option for pick up or drop off (at an additional cost) – the most convenient and fiscally responsible solution for an easy, catered meal. 

Reservations and Booking Guidelines

EVGR Pavilion offers spacious and flexible meeting spaces, the largest of which can accommodate up to 250 guests, that can be reserved for Stanford department meetings and conferences.

The Process
Once you have completed the request form, one of our talented conference coordinators will review your request and respond to you with availability and relevant rental information. They will also send you a comprehensive preliminary event proposal, including requested catering, room set-up and A/V details. Please note that in order to guarantee the event date and space, a department PTA and signed event proposal is required.

Making Changes
All gatherings – from large, multi-faceted conferences to focused retreats or business meetings – can be personalized. We understand details change as your program evolves over time and are happy to assist with changes to your scheduled event. However, all changes must be made a minimum of 7 days in advance of your event date. Contractual changes made within 6 days are subject to availability and additional fees.

 

Sustainability

R&DE is a leader of sustainability efforts on campus – from the responsible and humane sourcing of our food to our energy-efficient residences and dining locations and our commitment towards zero-waste events. Stanford Hospitality has partnered with Sustainable Stanford to ensure our catering not only meets but exceeds the university’s Cardinal Green standards. We emphasize best practices in water conservation, minimizing resources and waste, and using local resources for food and services.

Proceeds from R&DE catering help offset increases in room and board, and support student programs.
 

Please be advised that the terms and conditions governing any of the R&DE Meal Plans, Cardinal Dollars, and any of the SDHA (Stanford Dining, Hospitality & Auxiliaries) services, products, offerings, benefits, features, or any other conditions related to them are subject to change without prior notice. This includes any aspects related to SDHA services, such as menu offerings, pricing, schedules, and any other features or benefits that SDHA provides.   As we continuously strive to enhance our offerings, adapt to industry trends, or respond to the university or other conditions or requirements, we may update these terms from time to time. By enrolling in and purchasing any R&DE Meal Plan, Cardinal Dollars, Catering, Concession or other SDHA service, you acknowledge and agree that this is considered as your acceptance of these terms.
