Whether you're hosting a small staff meeting, elaborate dinner party or a large reception, Vidalakis Dining Hall is a perfect place to host an event any time of year. Serving groups from 25 to 800, members of the Schwab hospitality team will work with you to make your event a success. Room reservations are subject to GSB facilities approval.

Our teams always have the pulse on the latest trends and, beyond exceptional food and service, can help you execute signature events that are certain to wow your guests. We happily partner with on-campus services whenever possible and manage vendors and services for you, including tent builds, furniture rentals, AV/tech installations, floral design, themed décor and event flow with a perfectly paired menu to match.

Stanford Express Catering

Catering made simple!

Stanford Express Catering service provides simplified offerings on disposable platters for up to 50 guests with an option for pick up or drop off (at an additional cost) – the most convenient and fiscally responsible solution for an easy, catered meal. 


R&DE is a leader of sustainability efforts on campus – from the responsible and humane sourcing of our food to our energy-efficient residences and dining locations and our commitment towards zero-waste events. Stanford Hospitality has partnered with Sustainable Stanford to ensure our catering not only meets but exceeds the university’s Cardinal Green standards. We emphasize best practices in water conservation, minimizing resources and waste, and using local resources for food and services.

Proceeds from R&DE catering help offset increases in room and board, and support student programs.
