We put students first!

R&DE Stanford Dining prides itself on providing not only high-quality and nutritious cuisine to meet the wide variety of dietary needs, but a wide variety of opportunities for students to get directly involved. We offer student engagement programs that encourage students to pursue interests in many fields including sustainability, nutrition, research and community building.

Student Dining Committee Program

The Student Dining Committee is a great way to get involved with our team and share ideas to enhance the dining experience for all students. Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact and enhancing the student community through food! We invite you to apply if you are:

  • Enthusiastic about making a positive impact. 
  • Excited to contribute creative, innovative ideas. 
  • Eager to share your insights to enhance the dining experience. 

Act as a focus group on various topics and menu development where you can share fresh, fun ideas and changes! 
Dining Committee members meet once a week! Lunch will be provided.

Fun, Flexible, & Collaborative! 

Join our team and enhance the dining experience at Stanford. We offer flexible schedules and minimal shifts (1-3 hour shifts available) that work around your school schedule, day or night!  

Rate: $23.24/hour

Dining Office Hours

Have questions or feedback for your dining hall chef or manager? 
We are offering weekly Dining Hall Office Hours, where you can speak directly with a a chef and manager and learn more about our dining programs.

Tuesdays from 5pm-6pm at:

  • Arrillaga Family Dining Commons
  • Stern Dining
  • Florence Moore Dining
  • Lakeside Dining
  • Ricker Dining
  • Wilbur Dining & EVGR Dining at Wilbur
  • Branner & Casper Dining at Casper

Halal Dining Intern

R&DE Stanford Dining, Hospitality & Auxiliaries (SDHA) is actively seeking a Halal Dining Intern to act as a liaison for SDHA and the Muslim students we serve to facilitate engagement in the community for those observing a Halal diet. Interested candidates should exhibit a strong interest and knowledge of halal dining requirements to support the Muslim student community. To read the full job description, click here.
