R&DE Stanford Dining, Hospitality & Auxiliaries (SDHA) prides itself on providing not only high-quality and nutritious cuisine to meet the wide variety of dietary needs, but a wide variety of opportunities for students to get directly involved. We offer student engagement programs that encourage students to pursue interests in many fields including sustainability, nutrition, research and community building.
Outreach and Engagement Student Manager
Do you have an interest in food, hospitality, and making dining experiences for Stanford students unique? Apply to be an Outreach and Engagement Student Manager!
The Outreach & Engagement Student Manager team supports the planning, production, and execution of programs and initiatives that enhance the student dining experience. This role reports to the Outreach and Engagement team to enhance visibility, participation, and overall student connection to dining offerings. Responsibilities include coordinating program logistics, supporting the creation and distribution of materials, managing production and printing needs, and documenting program activity. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

The Student Dining Committee is a great way to get involved with our team and share ideas to enhance the dining experience for all students. Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact and enhancing the student community through food! We invite you to apply if you are:

- Eager to share your insights to enhance the dining experience.
Act as a focus group on various topics and menu development where you can share fresh, fun ideas and changes!
Dining Committee members meet once a week! Lunch will be provided.

Have questions or feedback for your dining hall chef or manager?
We are offering weekly Dining Hall Office Hours, where you can speak directly with a a chef and manager and learn more about our dining programs.
Tuesdays from 5pm-6pm at:

Academic Course and Class Collaborations
To collaborate with SDHA for class assignments, capstone projects or honors theses, complete the R&DE Stanford Dining Student Project Request form or email emhansen@stanford.edu.
