EVGR-A Duan Family Hall

EVGR-A Duan Family Hall is a 10-story building, with wings ranging from six to 10 stories high.  EVGR opened in 2020 and features a design that reflects the distinct style and attributes of many of Stanford’s most beloved buildings. During the 2023-24 academic year, Duan Family Hall will house undergraduates on the lower eight floors and graduate students on the 9th and 10th floors. Depending on undergraduate housing demand, part of the 8th floor may also house graduate students.

Sustainability

In support of the university’s zero-waste goals, this residences is equipped with a multi-stream collection system: organics; paper recycling; cardboard recycling; plastics, metals and glass recycling; and landfill. Sorting waste increases its reuse value. We encourage students to participate in this and other Cardinal Green practices.

Dining Service

All apartments have kitchens, but do not have a stove or oven. At Stanford R&DE, we provide an exceptional dining experience regardless of your living location. With locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, our chefs craft delicious options for every meal. A Stanford Dining meal plan will be required of all undergraduates. Units in EVGR-A Duan Family Hall will have refrigerators and microwaves, but no stoves or ovens. In order to control the flow of students and adhere to physical distancing guidelines, students will be assigned to a specific dining location based on their housing assignment.

Custodial Service

Common areas are university-managed. Apartments are not serviced while occupied.
